This is a transitionary phase from nursery to formal schooling and thus, is handled with extreme care. The program offers opportunities for open-ended play as well as directed activities and thematic studies. Working independently and in small groups, the children learn through play and hands-on exploration. Emphasis is given on formal teaching methods along with play, to make it easy for kids to adjust to formal schooling. The curriculum is rich in language experiences as well as reading and math readiness, so as to encourage a love of learning, curiosity, creativity, self-confidence and independence in each child. Children are taught to use their analytical and logical skills to strengthen their self-esteem and self-independence.
